Terms of Use
Last updated: August 24, 2026
By using REPO-SIGHT (reposight.vercel.app, the "Service"), you agree to these terms.
1. What the Service does
REPO-SIGHT performs static analysis on publicly accessible C++, Python, and Java repositories that you submit via GitHub URL. It reports code metrics, complexity, and quality indicators. It does not execute, run, build, or install the code being analyzed.
2. Acceptable use
- Only submit repositories you have the right to have analyzed (public repos, or your own private work).
- Don't use the Service to attempt to overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the underlying analysis engine or infrastructure.
- Don't submit repository URLs intended to exploit, attack, or abuse the analysis pipeline.
3. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is," free of charge, with no guarantee of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Metrics and health scores are heuristic indicators, not a substitute for professional code review or security audit.
4. Limitation of liability
REPO-SIGHT and its author are not liable for any damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service, including reliance on any analysis results.
5. Third-party content
The Service displays advertising served by Google AdSense. Ads are provided by Google and third-party advertisers; REPO-SIGHT does not control ad content. See our Privacy Policy for details on advertising cookies.
6. Open source
The REPO-SIGHT codebase is distributed under the Apache 2.0 License. These Terms of Use govern the hosted Service, separately from the code license.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated as the Service evolves. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
